The fabric has not been prewashed. It has been unfolded, but never prewashed. Tho its an older piece, there is no odor.
My home is smoke and cat free. There is no odor on this to indicate its original owners had any pets.
Ships with tracking. I ship M-F, some Saturdays depending on time order is placed. I live in a very small town, our PO is only open 2 hours on Saturday.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
