My customers love options for memory shirt items. This is one more option made from the clothing of loved ones. This takes a small amount of fabric, so if you have a lot of gifting to do, but not much clothing, this is a good option.
As many of my best sellers, this started as a custom request by customers. So many have asked for this, that I created a separate listing.
The pictures show a heart made from a shirt, a robe and ties that I have stitched together.
I take your fabric, and do this applique heart. Satin stitches outline the heart. I choose a coordinating thread. The base fabric I provide and is cotton.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
