They are great washcloths for guests to remove their makeup. With the embroidery, there is no confusion about which towel to use. The black color won't show the mascara and makeup that a white or light washcloth will.
Its washcloth size, so about 12 x 12". And unlike washable make up remover circles, these are easy to wash, won't get lost in the washer.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
