Let me create a lasting memorial of your pet. This one of a kind cover combines a photo, couching with lots of color, and hand embroidery. Its a combination of the traditional, graffiti, steampunk and fiber art.

Let me make this special for you.

This is a wonderful gift for the pet lover, and as a memorial to a loving pet who's gone over the rainbow bridge.

I start with your image and print on natural osnaburg fabric. Then a medium is applied to the fabric to make it stable. I frame it with several border pieces and add the couching, ribbon, yarns and decorative stitches. Now its time to add the hand embroidery.

At that point the front of the cover is finished and I complete the cover. This one is sized at 18 x 18 and has a zipper in the back. However, as this is a total custom item, I can change the size easily.

The natural cotton fabric of the pillow is osnaburg. Its a lovely fabric to work with, many compare it to burlap. It has great texture and the various threads used to create it often create a texture on the photo image that adds to the character.

This includes the insert-- it is ready for giving.

This item is of course available without the hand embroidery. I really want to make this a unique item for you. I love it when a client uses my hands and tools to create a gift that reflects them, and the recipient.

Feel free to convo before purchasing to discuss your order.

As you can see there are many steps to this process and it takes time. So please allow me time to make yours. I am listing this out at 3 to 4 weeks, however, realistically, I feel I can ship in less. If you have a rush requirement, just convo!

The fabric medium makes the photo image stable, however I still recommend spot cleaning.

Lots of ways to live a personalized life at, where I make gifts memories.

Tell me about osnaburg

I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
