I take the shirt of your loved one and create a memory pillow with collar. I will use your provided shirt to cut, sew and embroider in my smoke free home. The back has a very popular quote found on another memorial item in my shop. It reads, "because someone we love is in heaven, there is a bit of heaven in our home".
First, if you are shopping for an item like this, I am sorry for your loss. This can be a difficult or sensitive time. I understand I really want to make this perfect.

I've set the lead time at 2 to 3 weeks to allow time for transit of your shirt to me.
My picture shows the embroidery directly on the shirt. However some shirts are more colorful and the embroidery may not stand out -- in those cases a patch may be used.
This shirt usually fits an 18" square insert. But some shirt sizes are smaller. So your pillow will come between 16 and 18" square.
The last photo shows where I did a combination of a popular sentiment that I sell alone on the back of the shirt. It is avail as separate listing.

This design is appropriate for regular weight shirting and flannel. It is too thick for my sewing machines if quilted or heavy weight flannel or fleece. Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.

Our family's Memorial Pillows were more than we expected! I had changed my order several times and Carol was gracious and was able to make the changes. She kept in constant contact with updates. Our pillows arrived ahead of schedule. I will continue to purchase from Carrabelle and I highly recommend her to everyone. This has been a wonderful experience.
