I will take your handwriting sample and convert to fabric, ready to make a sew in patch. I did the one above for a bride to sew in her wedding dress. Others have been sewn into quilts. And they'd work equally well as wedding tie patches.
All you do is provide me with a small sample of writing in JPG or PNG format (via etsy convo) and I'll take it from there. It will be created on white cotton, a standard for quilters. I will allow plenty of fabric, so you can turn the fabric under and sew it wherever you like.
If you have another color in mind for the fabric or image, let me know. I have shown samples in various colors.
It is a sew in patch.
Clear images work best, avoid shadows in your image. The computer sees things our eyes don't. You will get the essence of the writing.
This can be an ideal way to remember a loved one who has passed, or simply to take the best wishes of those dearest to you with you.
The handwriting will be reproduced exactly in heat transfer material on an unhemmed cotton fabric that can be turned under for a patch.
These can be sewn in by the seamstress doing your dress alterations. It only takes a bit of pressing and hand sewing for someone to turn under the edges and attach to the dress, so the bride or a family member can do it as well.
My customers have come up with the best uses for this! Many have had them sewn in the wedding dress, typically the hem or when getting the gown altered, a seam. Some, a quilt block. One bride asked all her guests to bring a quilt block where later, she'd have combined in a memory quilt.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.

My husband has Early Onset Alzheimer's and recently had to be placed in a memory care facility. I was going through cards that he had given me and decided to have the signature on one printed so I could make something from it. The printing looked perfect...very clear and just like the original. I made this pillow from it. It sits on my bed as a reminder that despite his changes he does always love me. I couldn't be happier with the printing that was done!

Thank you so much! I successfully made 2 aprons for my sisters Christmas gifts. The aprons were made using shirts that belonged to our wonderful grandmother. I had a card with her signature that allowed me to add this special touch thanks to you!!!
