This is a bear made from clothing of a loved one. I include this in several listings, but this is for convenience, listed on its own.
This is bear only, the shirt pix are shown to as examples. Shirts are not included in this listing.
The bear is made from scraps leftover. I also have done bags, ornaments and other items.
Typically, people order this as an add on with shirts. There are often scraps leftover, and I hate just tossing them. I have been adding add ons, besides the bear I've done pouches and ornaments. This gives an opportunity to give two or more gifts from one item.
First, if you are shopping for an item like this, I am sorry for your loss. This can be a difficult or sensitive time. I understand I really want to make this perfect.
I love making these Memory Pillows for many reasons -- it is something special, keeps the memory alive, and also the upcycling of a shirt is a way to keep the clothes of a missing loved one that are otherwise hard to part with.
This cute, fun, and sentimental use for the old shirts, keeps the memories alive for small children, and keeps our own love-connection open. It brings our missing loved one into our current lives in a meaningful joyful way.
I have other sentiments available and love customs. Please check the memory section of my shop.
This is a wonderful memorial pillow, father's day gift, mother's day gift...
Note that they don't have to be dress shirts. I have done all kinds of shirts.
While this item has a shipping cost, once you go over the $35 threshold, there is no cost for shipping.
Just order the item, select options and I'll convo you my address to send the shirt.
If you have something special in mind, feel free to convo before ordering.
Please check you emails! I may have questions about thread colors, etc.
I've set the lead time at 2 to 3 weeks to allow time for transit of your shirt to me.
The bear is about 11" tall.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
