This is bear only, as shown in first pic. The shirt pix are shown to as examples. Shirts and second bear style are not included in this listing.
The bear is made from scraps leftover. I also have done bags, ornaments and other items. This gives an opportunity to give two or more gifts from one item.
I love making these Memory Pillows for many reasons -- it is something special, keeps the memory alive, and also the upcycling of a shirt is a way to keep the clothes of a missing loved one that are otherwise hard to part with.
This cute, fun, and sentimental use for the old shirts, keeps the memories alive for small children, and keeps our own love-connection open. It brings our missing loved one into our current lives in a meaningful joyful way.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
