Often there isn't a lot of clothing, but a lot of family that would appreciate the memorial. I've made ornaments, bags, have another style bear -- all to utilize the smallest of scraps left. Such was the case of a client, the last pic shows both style bears to make best use of available clothing item.
If there isn't enough fabric, I can also add coordinating fabric to complete the item.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
