The fabric has a large repeat, so I made this a bit deeper. Its about 18" tall, 11" wide and 3" deep and has two front deep pockets. Fully lined, (in red) it has no exposed seams. The strings are nice and long-- but if you want them shorter, just trim the ends and retie the knot.
Made in true etsy spirit, I bring the fabric home by the yard, cut and sew in my smoke and cat free home.

Tell me about osnaburg
I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
