Is your grandma a Nonnie? Can you relate to having a mom that's too cool to be grandma? Looking for a perfect way to tell your glamour mom that she's going to be a grandmother?

Its a combination of gray and pink threads.

By customer request, I took my popular definition pillow and changed the top wording to Nonnie. If you look you'll see I have done a lot of variations of this, Oma, Babcia, Memere, Abuela, Bachi, Glammy to name a few.

This is not a printed item, but beautiful embroidery with over 35,000 stitches. There is something special about embroidery, vs a printed item. The stitches have a beautiful sheen and depth to them that no other medium can attain- or compare.

It includes the pillow form, and is complete and ready for wrapping and giving.

Thread is gray and pink for the accent words.

This is made in the true spirit of Etsy. I do not use "blanks" and simply embroider. I make this pillow cover one by one, and then embroider in my smoke free home, bringing home the fabric in bolts, cutting and sewing.

I am very open to changing colors, I love customs and love to make it special for you. There are examples of that. But please ask first.

Add a name for $5 on the front of the pillow. If you choose this option please enter the name in the notes section at checkout.

The size of the pillow is a nominal 12 x 16. The fabric is white cotton, and has a zipper in the back. Some of the pics show customs.

This is made to order, please allow me time to make yours. If you need a rush order, convo and I promise to do my best to accommodate you.

Tell me about osnaburg

I love using osnaburg fabric. Its a natural heavily woven cotton. It has a nice texture that many compare to linen or burlap. Many of my designs are very dense, and it takes the stitches better than a flat fabric. Sometimes there is a random thread that doesn't take the color or bleach.Just like you'd see in linen or burlap. There aren't a lot of them, sometimes we won't see one in a project, other times you'll get one or two. They are super small, visualize a single thread woven in about an inch of the fabric. The fabric may also have a slub, this is not a snag, with a hole as if you snagged a sweater. Nature doesn't create cotton uniformly and most embrace the organic look. Neither are flaws.
